The staff of the ISC are prepared to help you with questions concerning visas, travel, work, and cultural adjustment. They can also provide contact information with your country’s student association here at K-State. For more information, go to www.k-state.edu/intlstucenter.

Undergraduate Admission

If you have a good academic record from high school, but your English is not yet at an 80 ibt, 213 cbt, or 550 pbt score on the TOEFL test, with minimum part scores, you can be admitted to an undergraduate program at K-State and begin your studies in the English Language Program. (For minimum part scores, see www.k-state.edu/elp/testing/ugadmit.htm.) You can begin your degree studies as soon as your English meets university requirements.

The English Language Program

The ELP can admit people who are non-native speakers of English, are at least 17 years old, read and write in their own language, and know the Roman alphabet. The ELP cannot accept students who have never studied English. For more information, go to www.k-state.edu/elp.
